We are conducting a recruitment drive to identify potential firefighters to support the delivery of Rescue and Firefighting Services at Airbus/Hawarden Airport.
These exciting roles in a unique environment, which involve all fire activities at our site at Airbus / Hawarden Airport, a Category 7 airport, provide a fantastic opportunity for personal and career development in the aviation sector.

All selected candidates will be expected to undertake each stage of the recruitment process on the dates below. Please note that dates may be subject to change due to operational requirements:
- Stage 1: Be prepared to undertake and pass academic online assessments (Literacy & Numeracy)
- 17 September 2025: Stage 2 & 3: Practical selection tests and competency-based interview.
- Once a position is offered, a medical & Chester Step test will be arranged with our Occupational Health provider oncea position is offered to successful candidate

Please note that all successful candidates will be required to enter into a Training Agreement.

About you
Role Requirements:
Essential criteria for the Aviation / Industrial Fire Fighter role would be:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Must have a valid UK Full Driving Licence.
- Meets CAA/Falck medical standards.
Desirable criteria:
- Airport / Fire Fighter Experience.
- LGV Licence (Although this is desirable, employment is conditional on completion during employment.)
- First Aid at Work.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain the following:
- A required level of technical competencies as defined by Civil Aviation Authority and Falck Fire Services.
- Be required to undertake security checks and references to gain Airbus & Airside Security Clearance.
- Attendance of training courses as agreed by the regulator and the Company.
- Maintaining medical & physical fitness.
